Following the monumental success of the Dyson Supersonic™ hairdryer and the game-changing Dyson Airwrap™ styler, Dyson are fortifying their stance as industry leaders: revealing their Australian Ambassador lineup for 2019.
And boy is it a good one.
Culminating the talents of six accomplished stylists from across the hair sphere, Dyson’s elite group of Australian Styling and Education Ambassadors will spearhead the brand’s editorial and educational activity over the year’s course – starting with a dynamic showcase at this year’s AHFA’s.
Editorial queen Renya Xydis (Valonz) and International celeb stylist Peter Thomsen (Chelsea Haircutters) will continue to facilitate education as Dyson Styling Ambassadors for 2019.
Joining the duo are three-time Australian Hairdresser of the Year Jayne Wild (Wildlife Hair) and reigning AHFA Hairdresser of the Year Damien Rinaldo (Boris the Cuttery), both of whom will bring their editorial expertise and hairdressing knowledge to their new roles with Dyson.
Rounding out the talent-packed troupe for 2019 are five-time Australian Hairdresser of the Year Frank Apostolopolous (BIBA) and current Hair Expo Hairdresser of the Year Joey Scandizzo (Scandizzo Salon), who, along with the aforementioned stylists, are undoubtedly among the industry’s most sought after figures.
Touring Australia across the year, Dyson’s newly announced team of Ambassadors will host a series of look and learns – each showcasing their methods for achieving the most sought after hair styles using Dyson’s game changing technology.
First up, the Australian Hair Fashion Awards on Sunday 14th April, where the team will unite for a showcase of supersonic proportions. Next, the team will flock to Perth (27th May), Melbourne (26th August) and Sydney (11th November) for the first Dyson Professional Education Roadshow.
