anz-finlaists-revealed

After a whirlwind adventure deep into the magic metaverse that was the 2023 L’Oréal Professionnel Style & Colour Trophy, we are thrilled to reveal that New Zealand’s very own Rebecca Brent (Willis York) has been crowned the 2023 ANZ Winner – and will now go on to represent ANZ in the 2023 Grand Semi-Final.

“I was actually in disbelief,” said Rebecca when we caught up with her at the glittering Semi-Final Gala earlier this month, after hearing her name called. “I’m the only person from New Zealand who has made the finals, so watch out!”

And watch out was right, with her incredible work in the Melbourne finals catapulting her into the global Grand Semi-Final.

Her final look, created just 48 hours before the LIVE announcement on Monday night was an architecturally layered, bright peach interpretation of the 2023 theme Metamorphosis.

She will now go on to join an illustrious list of Aussies – including past three global winners Claudia Cataldo (2022), Massimo Tirimacco (2021) and Wendy Gunn (2019) – who have represented ANZ on the hallowed L’Oréal Professionnel Style & Colour Trophy Global Stage.

A massive TJ shoutout to Alicia Peruzza (Circles of Hair) and Chanel Beck (Koko Blaq) who took out second and third place respectively in the hotly anticipated announcement.

Grab your passports, because our next stop in the unmissable whirlwind that is the 2023 L’Oréal Professionnel Style & Colour Trophy is the international stage.

Good luck Rebecca, we can’t wait to see you shine!
