LAUNCH: GHD UNVEIL ROYAL DYNASTY COLLECTION

The crowning glory of seasonal gifting.

With Christmas little under three months away, the queens of good hair (and good gifting) have dropped their most luxurious collection yet.

Enter ghd’s new, and aptly themed Royal Dynasty collection. An uber-luxe, limited edition capsule range featuring the brand’s most popular styling staples (namely the ghd platinum+ smart styler, air® hairdryer and gold® styler) reimagined for the holiday season.

The height of opulence, each piece boasts a shimmering rose gold exterior and/or tinged metallic accents along with the brand’s trademark ceramic heat technology and ergonomic design; allowing users to achieve smooth, sleek and sovereign-standard hair, style after style.

The crowning glory of seasonal gifting, each limited edition tool and giftset comes encased in an equally lavish burgundy vanity case, making these perfect for chic, beauty-shelf storage (shelfies anyone?) or travelling like a royal. (Queen’s Guards not included).

To celebrate the collection’s local launch, a selection of influencers, beauty editors and special guests were invited to experience a taste of the royal treatment inside hip Sydney joint Maybe Sammy.

Guests were ushered through a fuschia-lit, floral embellished eden of regal proportions – complete with gilded throne, pageant crowns and a deep-red carpet – and treated to an assortment of themed cocktails and canapés.

Welcoming attendees was none other than ghd Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand, Monsieur Ludovic Dellazzeri, who recalled the brand’s stellar year in action, citing such innovations as the 2019 launched glide Professional Hot Brush and game changing Oracle among key highlights.

“Every year we look to innovate our offering,” shared Ludovic. “We’ve done this most recently with the glide and oracle, but the Christmas collection will be a fan favourite thanks to its variety, and there being something for everyone and fitting any budget.”

“We wanted to give consumers a touch of luxury with the limited edition sets and a means for them to take these with them everywhere,” he continued. “That’s the inspiration behind the Royal Dynasty collection and the vanity cases.

Not only are they beautiful but they are practical and versatile – just like a ghd tool!”

Demonstrating the undeniable styling prowess of the new collection was Australia’s own hair royal and influencer Natalie Anne, who recreated some of the brand’s most popular styling trends across three guest models.

Preambling the collection’s soon to be launched AR Instagram filter (an Australian first set to debut this Friday), guests were welcomed to embrace their inner queens with a custom-fit photo booth befitting the occasion.

The accessories of choice? A selection of bejewelled pageant crowns, no less.

A good hair day indeed.
