From countless entries, five finalists have been named in La Biosthetique’s inaugural Colour Lab Competition.
To secure a place in the finals, entrants were first tasked with submitting two images showcasing their technical mastery using La Biosthetique colour. Images were judged by a panel of industry experts including Brett Albury, Adam Isles, Todd Arndt, Belinda Keeley, Mia de Vries and Alexander Fuchs.
“The rules of the competition were simple, colourists must use La Biosthetique hair colour and styling products on the model” said La Biosthetique Education Manager Alexander Fuchs. “What we didn’t expect was the incredible range of looks created from the colour, and the influx of entries from the amazingly talented network of stylists. It was a very tough competition to judge and a complete success right from the first year of running it.”
Each of the five finalists will be invited to recreate their look for a live runway show at La Soiree next year. Following the announcement of La Biosthetique’s national competition winner, the winning stylist will be sent on a once in a life time trip through Europe, beginning in La Biosthetique’s global headquarters in Paris.
