SMARTBOND is a breakthrough combination of maleic acid & Ceramide. The formula actively works to protect & strengthen the bonds in the hair during all technical services. To create SMARTBOND, L’Oréal Professionnel involved 12 of the best international hair colourists from the early stage of the product development. Among them, American Johnny RAMIREZ, French Frederic MENNETRIER and Canadian Matthew COLLINS, who are all part of L’Oréal Professionnel’s 2016 International Hair Artists Glam Team. As a result, SMARTBOND is totally adapted to the hair colourist routine: no difference in texture, no need to increase the oxydant, and above all, no extra processing time for the hairdresser.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The SMARTBOND system consists of 3 components: the first two are used in salon and the third one at home. Very easy to use, SMARTBOND acts in synergy with all L’Oréal Professionnel hair colouring and lightening products.

First, all the hairdresser needs to do is to include the step 1 additive (for salon only) during the technical service, lightening or hair colour for example, for a bond protecting and strengthening result. Then, after rinsing, the hairdresser applies the step 2 professional pre-shampoo on hair from roots to ends, rinses again after 10 minutes and applies the usual post hair colour or decolouration treatment. To extend the outstanding salon result, all you need to do is to use the SMARTBOND at-home conditioner once every 3 shampoos. It couldn’t be simpler!
