After recently announcing the dress theme for their Friday night antics (Space Cowboy – incase you missed the memo), Secret Garden HQ have given us a little sneak peak into their line-up for 2016.
In true Secret Garden tradition, the full line-up will remain unknown until all one and two-day passes are sold, but here is a little taste of what you can expect at the eccentric garden festival.
Introducing four favourite party crews from around the way, who’re each curating their own pocket of the deep forest for an unmissable all-night party takeover:
From rooftops to tennis courts to warehouses, Love Bombs create amazing parties in unlikely spaces around our city. They’re coming to build an oasis of disco, soul, house and boogie amongst our bustling Friday night. Shag, the king of dropping THAT SONG at all hours of the night is bringing an epic crew along to Lionel Richie, the after, after, after party spot at Secret Garden.
Everyone’s favourite indie institution Purple Sneakers are teaming up with some of Sydney’s finest for a huge Saturday night – come for our city’s best, stay for the Friendship Set. If you’d prefer to close out your night with power ballads and Dad Rock, nobody does it better than Money For Nothing DJs. Keep it loose and late-night with your favourite classic hits. All dads invited.
Celebrating its eighth birthday in 2016, Secret Garden will run over two whole days in 2016, from Friday 26 to Sunday 28 February. Take the plunge into our eccentric adult play land that has become renowned for fancy dress, sequins, glitter and good times. See 50 bands and DJs, 30 actors, dancers and comedians, 18 pop-up performances, 10 drag queens, 8 dance floors, 6 stages, 1 very busy kissing booth, a Space Cowboy Party and many more mysteries to be revealed as the festival unfolds.
