This just in: Australia’s own digital darling, Natalie Anne has been named International Hair Influencer of the Year at the 2019 American Influencer Awards.
She’s tipped one million likes on facebook, boasts a 521k Instagram following and has revolutionised the haircare industry with her uber-luxe, namesake product line: NA Haircare. All this and countless brand gigs, educational workshops and a thriving salon in Sydney’s inner west.
Now, Australia’s own insta-queen, Natalie Anne is adding a new and well-earned title to her already mammoth portfolio, taking out the International Hair Influencer of the Year award at this year’s American Influencer Awards (AIA’s) in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
The biggest event on the global social media calendar, the AIA’s celebrate the beauty world’s most revered players, honouring the insta-sphere’s top contributors across a number of categories.
Past winners have included hair bestie Guy Tang, fan favourite Nikkie de Jager and celebrity makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic (who was the 2019 recipient of the AIA Artist Achievement Award – an award he accepted from none other than long time collaborator and muse, Kim Kardashian).
Nominees were first selected based on quantity of public submissions, creative content, engagement, growth rate and their ability to influence in a positive manner. Winners were ultimately selected via the comp’s online voting platform coupled with votes from the AIA’s advisory board (weighted average).
No stranger to an accolade (or multiple), Natalie was awarded Digital Influencer of the Year at the 2018 Australian Hair Fashion Awards, following up with the coveted Transformation Video of the Year gong at this year’s AHFAs. (Check out her winning vid here.)
