Held inside Melbourne Arts Centre, the final leg of Colour Trophy’s national tour saw finalists from across Victoria assemble together for an evening of exceptional creativity, style inspiration, and of course, colour mastery.
One of the longest running hairdressing competitions, L’Oréal Colour Trophy continues to platform the best in hairdressing talent; honouring exceptional artistry, skill and creative vision both regionally and abroad.
Following a lineup of events in South Australia/Tasmania, Western Australia/Northern Territory, New South Wales, and Queensland, the finalists for Victoria gathered inside Melbourne Arts Centre for the fifth and final leg of Colour Trophy’s national tour.
Entrants were scored for their exhibition of technical mastery as well as their ability to produce a unique and original look that showcases current trends while considering consumer appeal and wearability.
First to be awarded was the VIC Rising Star for 2020 was Brikelle Kerr, Biba, who beat out four of her competitors to take out the top spot.
Next up, three state finalists were announced for Victoria; all of whom will partake in L’Oréal Colour Trophy’s grand finale on Monday 14th September, 2020.
State finalists included Danni Solier and Jamie Furlan of Xiang Hair, Emily Tong Samantha and Mcgillivray Smith of Anthony Nitson Hair and Danni Solier and Jamie Furlan of Xiang Hair. Check out their winning shots below.
