Goldwell have announced the Color Zoom winners and finalists for Australia and New Zealand.
Inside Sydney’s Beta Bar, members of the hair and beauty media congregated for the announcement of this year’s national Color Zoom winners and finalists for 2018.
Guests were treated to an intimate lunch and live performances before which respective winners and finalists were invited to accept their category trophies.
Entrants were first tasked with submitting their interpretations of the Goldwell Elemental trend; a collection which encapsulates the dual natures of technology and creativity, showcasing minimalistic shapes, tone-on-tone colours and future-forward styling.
Judges for 2018 included The Journal’s own David Mannah, Shane Henning, Cameron Pine and former Color Zoom Gold Winner Larisa Bresnehan.
Submitted images were judged for entrants’ interpretations of this year’s Elemental trend, their technical execution (cut, styling, colour) and the overall shoot aesthetic (including final image, fashion styling and makeup).
Winners from across Australia and New Zealand were announced in three distinct categories; namely the Global New Talent, Creative Colorist and Partner Colorist divisions.
