KEUNE ARTSERIES TROPHY ’17: ENTRIES CLOSING SOON

Keune Haircosmetics, the leading salon-only professional hair care brand announces the final week of The ArtSeries Trophy; a hairdressing competition designed to showcase the best talent from Australia & New Zealand.

With both Apprentice and Senior competition categories and a selection of specialist awards, Keune’s ArtSeries Trophy provides the ideal platform for hairdressers of all level working in salons stocking Keune to push their creative boundaries and showcase their hairdressing skills.

Taking inspiration from Keune’s ArtSeries Nocturnal Reflection collection launched by Keune’s Creative Team in 2016, competition entrants are required to create and submit their own interpretation of Nocturne as a professional quality, photographic image demonstrating technical excellence in all aspects of hair colour, cut, style and finish.

Entrant images will be judged by the hairdressing industry’s most inspiring and iconic names, including Keune President George Keune and Global Marketing Director Eelco Keune, Global Artistic Director Ilham Mestour, Keune Australia & New Zealand’s Creative Team Roberto Tarla, Daniel Yap and Sam Rizzo, as well as the top industry magazine, The Journal. The judging panel will choose six Apprentice and Senior category finalists who will then go into the final round for the chance to be crowned ArtSeries Trophy Winner for 2017.

Each category finalist will win return economy airfares to Sydney for two people, + 2 nights’ accomodation and 2 tickets to attend the Day with Keune and the Annual Keune Foundation Ball 2017, plus one year’s complimentary Keune Academy education classes to the value of $500.

The ArtSeries Trophy Apprentice and Senior category winners will head overseas for Keune’s International Masters Tour in 2018, where they will participate in a 3-day advanced colour and cut workshop with renowned international hairdressing talent; with the prize including flights, accomodation, dinners and $1,000 spending money. Category winners will also receive one year’s complimentary Keune Academy education classes to the value of $1,000.

Winners will be announced live at Keune’s bi-annual international event, Day with Keune, which will be held in Sydney on Sunday 11 June 2017.
