A Look Back at Paris Fashion Week with La Biosthetique

LA BIOSTHETIQUE STEALS THE SHOW AT PARIS FASHION WEEK

Talbot Runhof

Held in the impressive Imperial Ballroom in Parisian luxury hotel, The Westin, LA BIOSTHETIQUE and designer-duo Johnny Talbot and Adrian Runhof showcased the labels Autumn/Winter collection 2017. This time with a strong political message!

The motto for the show was “Lie to me” as a take on the ever dominating headlines of ‘fake news’. Mes- sages were sewn into the clothing such as “Unpresidented”, “Persist”, “Sad!”, and of course the motto of the show “Lie to me”, a clear attack on the US-President Donald Trump.

Heading up the team of stylists for the show was Alexander Dinter the LA BIOSTHETIQUE creative director, who crafted a sleek, modern look for the models on the catwalk. Among the team of hairdress- ers were two Australian representatives from the fashion forward salon, Lush Hair in Adelaide, Sinead Mackay the salon owner and senior stylist Amy Clark. They created the elegant low bun using the LA BIOSTHETIQUE styling product Transformer and the light weight defining paste, Style Pomade. To finish the look the hair was sprayed with Formule Laque and Glossing Spray.

The looks created by the LA BIOSTHETIQUE team perfectly complimented the chic sportswear inspired collection, with 18 confident models hitting the catwalk with a message from the fashion world.

Nobieh Talaei

For the grand finale of Paris Fashion Week, Berlin-based Nobieh Talaei released her latest collection
for fall 2017. Geometric structures and cubist forms inspired the label’s collection, softened with the lush fabrics and rich colours often associated with Nobi Talai. Backstage was the Parisian Hair and Beauty House LA BIOSTHETIQUE, a regular at this event, the label had a team of skilled stylists and make-up artists working to create the perfect looks for the catwalk.

Star-stylist Alexander Dinter lead the team of hairdressers, including two Australian representatives from the fashion forward salon, Lush Hair in Adelaide, Sinead Mackay the salon owner and senior stylist Amy Clark. Together they created an asymmetrical look to compliment the angular forms and the soft folds of the clothing. Pulled to one side, the hair was sleeked back behind the ear using the LA BIOSTHETIQUE style pomade, finished with a tight braid down the side. Flowing over the sleek braid were textured long locks, giving the hair the a resolutely feminine appeal.

The make-up used was also from the LA BIOSTHETIQUE range with soft dewy foundation, strong eyelin- er and nude lips. Head make-up artist Cyrill Zen created the dramatic look using Glow Base primer to prep the skin giving it that fresh youthful glow, then added a thin layer of Teint Naturel for natural looking coverage. Using Khol Silk Pencil for Eyes, the make-up artists created the dramatic eye look, topping it off with Perfect Volume Dark Plum mascara to match the tones in the collection.
