KEUNE HAIRCOSMETICS TAKES CHARITY TO NEW HEIGHTS WITH HAIRSPRAY THEMED CHARITY BALL

KEUNE Haircosmetics hosted their 12th annual charity foundation ball in Melbourne on Sunday 12th June raising over $26,000 for The Keune Foundation to offer financial and emotional support to families whom have a child diagnosed with a life threatening illness.

Held in Melbourne for the first time at CBD venue MS Collins, this year’s ball took inspiration from 1980’s film Hairspray, and included themed food, drinks and entertainment for the brand’s 1,100 plus clients.

Ticket sales, silent auctions and themed photo booths at the event helped raise a record amount for The Keune Foundation, with all funds from the night going directly to families in need.

Established in 2005 by Keune Haircosmetics Australia Founders Hans and Theresa Van der Velden, The Keune Foundation provides financial assistance to Australian families who experience financial and emotional stress when their child is diagnosed with a life threatening illness.

As well as funds raised from the annual foundation ball, 10c from every Tinta Color tube, (the brand’s number one selling professional hair colour) sold across Australia is donated to the charity. The Keune Foundation has financially assisted over 480 Australian families whom have a child diagnosed with a life threatening illness to date. All administration costs are covered by Keune to ensure that all funds raised directly help families in need.
