Intercoiffure Australia has thrown open the doors for apprentices everywhere to showcase their talent in the G.O.A.T. 24 Instagram competition. The Greatest Of All Time 2024 contest beckons all member and non-member apprentices to participate in the Open category, following the success of last year’s event.

Terrina Brown, Intercoiffure’s National Artistic Director, emphasized the competition’s role in introducing apprentices to the creative world of competitions. Participants are tasked with planning and executing a ‘makeover transformation,’ capturing it on their smartphones.

The competition, which commenced on March 18, features an example entry on Intercoiffure Australia’s Instagram page. For Intercoiffure members, two exclusive categories exist: First-year Styling and Second and Third-year Cut and Colour.

Entries, shot in-salon, are accepted until April 29, ranging from 30 to 60 seconds. Participants are permitted to use music, speed adjustments, and basic editing, but special effects or text are prohibited.

L’Oreal Professionnel generously provides educational prizes across all categories. A distinguished panel, including representatives from L’Oreal Professionnel Australia and Intercoiffure associations, will adjudicate the entries.
