HeadHunter Recruitment has this month launched a new and timely initiative, geared towards supporting Melbourne salons to re-enter business operations following the extended lockdown.

Titled ‘Pay It Forward’, the new digital campaign was developed to assist Melbourne salons with procuring new staff ahead of their reopening, following the COVID-19 enforced lockdown of hair and beauty salons in Melbourne’s CBD.

For every job ad placed on the platform’s website across the months of October and November, HeadHunter Recruitment will subsequently provide one FREE job ad for a hairdressing, barber or beauty business located in Metro Melbourne.

A synergistic effort, ‘Pay It Forward’ enables salon owners to both attract potential staff members with a tailored job ad, while simultaneously helping a fellow Victorian salon owner secure their own new addition. A mutually beneficial accomplishment.

All job ads placed on the HeadHunter website are posted across a number of additional job boards including Jora, Adzuna, JobActive and social media pages. The platform also hosts over 600 registered job seekers who have previously submitted their details and CVs for potential opportunities and job vacancies.

Launched by the Australian Hairdressing Council, HeadHunter Recruitment was developed to meet the respective needs of hair, beauty and barbering professionals and small businesses, all while addressing an array of current employment challenges.
