This year, Goldwell is supporting The Leukaemia Foundation with an aptly colourful new initiative.
A new and accessible enterprise, Color for a Cure encourages clients to support the Leukaemia foundation by colouring their hair with Goldwell this June.
Whether it’s time for a touch up or a complete colour transformation, each session administered by a Goldwell colourist will see the brand donate $50 to The Leukaemia Foundation.
“We encourage everyone to Color For A Cure at any Goldwell salon across Australia this June for this very worthy cause,” said Justin Anderson, General Manager, Kao Australia Salon Division (Goldwell & KMS).
“Through the Goldwell Color For A Cure initiative, we are raising funds in a fun and colorful way to support The Leukaemia Foundation in continuing their important work in researching a cure, while supporting patients and their families affected by blood cancer.”
A nationally renowned non-profit organisation, The Leaukemia Foundation is dedicated to supporting those afflicted with with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and related blood disorders, providing awareness and invaluable research towards a cure.
The latest statistics have revealed that every day a staggering 35 Australians are diagnosed with blood cancer, with someone losing their life to the disease every 2 hours. Blood cancer is counted as the third most common cause of cancer death in Australia, claiming more lives than breast cancer or melanoma.
“Goldwell is thrilled to be working with The Leukaemia Foundation on this colorful fundraising campaign,” continues Justin. “We love that they are able to make an immediate impact on the lives of those affected by blood cancer, while simultaneously searching for a cure. It’s fantastic to be able to contribute to such a powerful cause.”
Clients can partake in the June initiative by simply booking their color appointment at their preferred Goldwell salon and uploading a photo to Instagram with #goldwellcolorforacure & @goldwellaus.
