Moncler have revealed the latest incarnation of their Moncler Genius series: the FW19 collection, Palm Angels.

A year following the project’s Milan debut, the Moncler Genius series continues to celebrate the diverse tastes of today’s client, culminating nine aesthetically distinct collections across one unifying theme.

Segmentally rolled out over the year’s course, each collection keeps functionality – and the brand’s signature down jacket – at its sartorial core, the latter of which sees a sequence of new and creator-led permutations with each monthly offering.

The result? One design house, multiple creative voices. The eighth of which – under the vision of designer Francesco Ragazzi – was unveiled this June, via large-scale installation made all the more rebellious by a lineup of vandalised Jeff Koons sculptures.

Favouring urban silhouettes, a palette of metallic nylon and unruly splashes of spray painted graffiti, Ragazzi’s encapsulates a spirit of fearless defiance; an homage to the designers penchant for authenticity and fondness for street culture.
