EVENTS: WHY YOU SHOULD VISIT SALON INTERNATIONAL IN 2018

Salon International, the UK’s leading hair show, returns to ExCeL London this autumn with a stellar line-up of hair care artisans.

A place for those working in the profession to come and see industry heavyweights flex their skills. It’s where the hairdressing industry launches the latest products and trends are created for the coming season.

Think of it as the Comicon of the hair world.

Here’s are our top 3 reasons why you MUST attend the premier event in the hairdressing calendar:

 1. Toni and Guy return to surprise, delight and inspire on the 14th October. The legendary brand will pay tribute to the late, great Toni Mascolo as only they know how with Mascolo’s daughter and Global Creative Director, Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck leading the event as models traverse the runway showcasing trend-led styles. The industry favourites will launch the new campaigns for Toni & Guy, label.m and essensuals before the show-stopping finale leaves attendees wanting more and kicks off their famous after-party celebrating a legend of the industry.

2. The Mahogany creative team will return for the 22nd consecutive year bringing with them their Look, Listen and Learn seminars. At the forefront of UK hairdressing the creative team, led by International Creative Director Colin Greaney, UK Creative Director Antony Licata and Senior Creative Director Neil Atkinson, will exhibit their groundbreaking cutting and colouring techniques. The seminars will showcase the latest collection in conjunction with their brand new educational streaming website that will enhance the audiences experience adding a dimension of creativity and education.

3. Guy Tang will accompany Olaplex to meet his #hairbesties. The man behind the million-plus social media dynasty will inject his own unique flair at his Salon International debut. Having played a key role in changing the face of hairdressing for a generation Tang uses his platform to connect and share his passion for self-expression through hair. This show promises to continue his legacy and be an extension of his online vision to provide “artistic empowerment for all”.
