Allure The Salon presents an unapologetic schooling in the importance of nature in design; tones, textures and silhouettes taken from earth and aligned for a true sense of calm.

Hairdresser of 25 years, Founder/Owner Renee XXX has spent the last decade dreaming up her ideal space – a home to hero hair design and inspired moments of self-care, creativity and human connection. Today, a salon is much more than space to sit and transform the hair on our head, it’s about a metamorphic journey in energy, style and senses, a precious moment in time to reset, recharge and ready for what’s next. And Allure ticks all the boxes.

“The contemporary masseria captures the charm of an original Puglian Farmhouse with whitewashed walls and puristic architecture with luxury finishes … an interior journey inspired by my time in the south eastern tip of Italy,” says Renee.

Here, luxury and laidback work in perfect unison. Moroccan terracotta tiles, natural clay-based render and a polished concrete canvas make way for the grandeur of velvet-like Japanese plaster and a floating Parisian light (defining expert colour work).

Further stand-out pieces include two Sarah Ellison Huggy chairs (that deliver literal warm and fuzzies on arrival), and a Hannah Carrick piece entitled ‘Energy’ that captures the ebb and flow of seasons, a fluidity of time and change celebrated by Renee and her team in their new abode.

Of course, dreamscapes like these require an equally pretty investment. We Are Tribe were at the interior helm, with the total (ballpark) cost coming in at $300,000.

Worth it? Absolutely.
