If there is one thing that our industry has proven time and time again throughout this pandemic, it is our ability to pivot and improvise at every turn.
We’re thrilled to report that – given the ever-changing lockdown restrictions and the impact this has on organising a professional shoot – DE LORENZO upheld this with their Nova 360 Social Image awards, and have just announced their incredibly talented winners of the 2021 competition.
Having previously run photographic awards, DE LORENZO preemptively adapted their format to accommodate the current unpredictable climate and make it more accessible for those wishing to enter their work. Instead of the traditional professional shoots, entries were to be produced using phones/tablets and published harnessing the power of social media.
Recognising superior, innovative colour, cutting and styling work used to enhance and complete a finished look, the Nova360˚ Social Image Awards allowed hairdressers with all levels of experience to showcase their skills through their social media images straight out of the salon, a huge opportunity for all to showcase their own creative flair regardless of prior accolades.
