DAVINES SHOWCASE ‘SCENE’ COLLECTION AT HAIR ON STAGE

900 hairdressers (from across 17 countries) flocked to Holland’s lavish Theater Amsterdam, for one day of creativity, styling, and Seminara-mastery…

Held amidst one of Europe’s most colourful cities, ‘Hair on Stage’ invited Davines’ professional community to learn from some of the best in the business, all the while sharing industry ideas and experiences with their international counterparts.

Davines Artistic Director Angelo Seminara

Leading the revered line up of presenters was Davines Artistic Director and four-time British Hairdresser of the Year Angelo Seminara, who invited guests to revel in the room’s contained artistry, offering a characteristically inspiring address.

Following suit was Master Trainer for Davines Netherlands Jani Beemster, who debuted his regally informed ‘Dutch-ess’ collection, before South African Carlton Hair Creative presented their ‘Handwerk’ portfolio. Capping off proceedings was the man himself, Angelo Seminara, who once again took to the mic to present Davines’ 2017 ‘Scene’ collection. Drawing cues from the minimalism of early twentieth century architecture, the collection features a bold series of geometrically sculpted cuts, perfectly complimented with multi-dimensional colour work.

Through the pristinely executed collection, Seminara explores an imaginative creative future, proposing a fascinating visualization of time through aesthetic interpretation.
