Entry into Wella’s ANZ TrendVision Awards close this May, with a national final event scheduled for September 2018.
Celebrating creativity, talent and technical mastery, the Wella TrendVision Awards are an invaluable platform for the cultivation of hair talent, providing local artists the opportunity to showcase their skills on an international stage.
Each year, frontrunners from across Australia and New Zealand are selected to represent their national counterparts on a global level, with this year’s delegates set to be revealed at a national final event this September.
Across two categories (namely Color Vision and Creative Vision) entrants are tasked with submitting their creative interpretations of the brand’s SS18 Nontouring trend. Submitted looks will be scored on colour palette choice and technique by a panel of industry heavyweights.
A selection of ten finalists will next flock to Brisbane for the Wella TrendVision Awards ANZ event to be held September 9th, before which winners will be flown to Lisbon for the International TrendVision Awards scheduled for November 2018.

“Over the years, we’ve been updating the format to improve its reach and impact for the competitors. This year we are taking another big step.”
One such update: an expanded digital engagement plan, set to afford audiences a closer look at finalists’ work plus the chance vote for their favourites and view all of the behind the scenes action.
