Legendary Aussie label Carla Zampatti is set to make a triumphant return to Australian Fashion Week.
The much-anticipated Opening Runway will showcase the Carla Zampatti Resort ’25 collection on May 13, 2024 at the Carla Zampatti Runway in Carriageworks.
Natalie Xenita, Vice President-Managing Director of IMG Fashion Events Asia-Pacific, expressed enthusiasm about the return, stating, “We are thrilled to announce the return of Carla Zampatti to Australian Fashion Week. We are proud to support Alex, Karlie, and the entire Carla Zampatti team for their Australian Fashion Week comeback in 2024, showcasing this iconic Australian brand to the international fashion industry and a new generation of fashion fans.”
The opening night runway show, presented by Porsche, will feature an encore presentation at 8 pm in February, allowing consumers a chance to be part of this exclusive fashion event.
Alex Schuman, CEO of Carla Zampatti, highlighted the significance of the occasion, stating, “It’s a milestone for the brand as we launch internationally.”
Karlie Ungar, the newly appointed Creative Director of Carla Zampatti, expressed her excitement, saying, “Australian Fashion Week is an event like no other. 2024 marks the return of Carla Zampatti to Australian Fashion Week after a 4-year absence, and we’re all very excited to bring the brand to the biggest stage in Australian fashion.”
The show is presented by Porsche, the official automotive partner of Australian Fashion Week, reinforcing their commitment to design and innovation. The 2024 Australian Fashion Week will also be the first for Karlie Ungar as Creative Director, adding an extra layer of anticipation to the event. The fashion extravaganza is set to take place from May 13 to 17, 2024, in Sydney, with tickets for the encore presentation available in February.
