#AHFA17: THE FINALIST ARE ANNOUNCED

2017 is a huge year for the Australian Hair Fashion Awards – this year they celebrate their silver jubilee: 25 years as Australia’s largest and most successful independent hairdressing awards program. Once again, the AHFAs are proudly partnered by L’Oréal Professionnel who share the same vision of celebrating and honouring the intrinsic and essential relationship between the industries of hair fashion and beauty.

With hundreds of entries from the best of the best of the hair fashion industry in Australia, the AHFA’s continue to cement their position as the most influential photographic competition in this country and THE one to win. Hugely important is the fact that the entries are judged in London but the best names in British hairdressing, allowing not only total impartiality but also massive international visibility for our artists.

For 2017 the London judging panel was even more impressive than previous years with a real ‘honours list’ of hair icons, including Angelo Seminara, Bruce Masefield, Trevor Sorbie, Tyler Johnston, Eugene Souleiman and Sam McKnight, with Sam’s regular collaborator Mary Greenwell upping the ante on the make-up judging. Judges feedback was that the Australian hair fashion industry is leading the world pack when it comes to creative vision and technical execution.
