WELLA PROFESSIONALS REVEAL STRENGHTENED PRO COMMUNITY

Wella Professionals has recently revealed a strengthened ANZ Pro community with Ambassador appointment and future-focused education.

Wella Professionals is reinforcing its commitment to the professional hair industry across Australia and New Zealand, investing in both creative leadership and an expanded education pathway designed to support hairdressers at every stage of their careers.

A key move is the appointment of multi-award-winning stylist and educator Lyndal Salmon as a Wella Professionals ANZ Ambassador. A long-time member of the Wella community, Salmon is widely recognised for her cutting precision and dedication to education. As Artistic Director and Head Educator at BIBA Academy, she has played a formative role in shaping the careers of thousands of hairdressers across the region.

In her new role, Salmon will collaborate closely with the brand across education initiatives, campaigns and industry activity, helping to strengthen the relationship between colour, cut and styling within salon practice.

Her appointment sits within Wella’s growing Pro community – a network of respected educators and creative leaders – which has also welcomed Morgan Weiss from TONI&GUY.

“Lyndal embodies everything we stand for; craft excellence, education and a genuine commitment to the future of hairdressing,” said Rekishia Jessup, General Manager, South Asia and Pacific. “Our Pro community is about leading with purpose and supporting the industry at every level.”

Alongside these ambassador appointments, Wella Professionals has also launched its 2026 Education Book, introducing FuturePRO, a next-generation apprentice pathway designed to address ongoing skills shortages while supporting faster, more confident development for emerging talent.

“FuturePRO responds directly to what salons and apprentices need right now,” said Patrick Fitzpatrick, Wella Professionals Commercial Operations & Digital Education Manager. “It’s about supporting young talent while strengthening the future of our industry.”

The program blends live virtual education, hands-on studio training, foundational craft development and salon behaviour coaching to accelerate apprentice floor readiness and reduce training pressure on salon owners.

The Wella Professionals Education Book 2026 is available now through Wella representatives and online.
