Wella Professionals continues its 2026 education rollout with a new wave of sessions across Australia designed to push beyond technical execution and into the language of modern hair where craft, culture and creative identity meet.
This latest series brings together some of the industry’s most recognised artists alongside Wella’s Next Gen talent, creating a program that moves between editorial, commercial and future-facing creative direction.
Each session is grounded in live demonstration, with a clear focus on translating high-concept inspiration into wearable, salon-ready work.
Here, we break down what to expect from each session.
SHAPE LOGIC with Lyndal Salmon x BIBA x Wella Professionals
Shape Logic sees multiple award-winning artist Lyndal Salmon partner with BIBA and Wella Professionals for an immersive, technique-led Look & Learn centred on structure, design and creative precision. The session opens up Salmon’s award-winning process, unpacking the shape theory, cutting discipline and design principles that define her signature aesthetic. With a focus on movement and refinement, the session explores how controlled technical decisions can be softened into effortless, personalised results. Alongside the creative focus, Shape Logic also touches on the commercial reality of salon work – from building client demand through contemporary services to increasing retention through consistent, considered finishes – while reinforcing the connection between cut, colour and cohesive end result. SURREAL GENERATION with the Next Gen Team x Wella Professionals
Surreal Generation brings together the Australian Hair Fashion Awards Creative Team 2026 finalists, the Wella Professionals Next Gen Team, for a high-energy, technique-driven Look & Learn guided by AHFA Hairdresser of the Year 2026 Lyndal Salmon and AHFA Creative Colourist of the Year 2026 Jack Morton. The session explores how digital influence and AI-led aesthetics are reshaping modern beauty, translating hyper-polished, virtual imagery into tangible, wearable hair. Through live demonstrations in colour, cut and styling, the team presents sculptural shapes, expressive finishes and high-impact texture, where precision gives way to movement and form remains distinctly handcrafted. The session places equal weight on technical execution and creative intent, encouraging stylists to push visual boundaries while maintaining control, structure and salon relevance.
