Introducing the Shark Glam™ Hot Tool Air Drying & Styling System, an all-in-one styling system designed to deliver salon-style results at home, without the usual heat damage concerns associated with traditional styling.
The impressive addition to the Shark Beauty lineup combines high-speed airflow with heat-controlled ceramic technology to move hair from wet to finished styles in a single streamlined process.
Built for everything from sleek straight looks to soft waves and defined curls, the system is positioned as a multi-tasking solution for a wide range of hair types and textures.
At the centre of the innovation is what Shark calls Gloss Lock Technology, engineered to seal shine into the hair once dry, creating a smoother, more polished finish. The system also continuously monitors temperature 1,000 times per second, regulating heat to ensure it does not exceed 150°C during wet-to-dry styling. Central to the tool is a ‘no heat damage¹’ claim, supported by tightly controlled temperature regulation and internal testing conditions.
A Scalp Shield mode has also been introduced, which automatically adjusts heat output to reduce extreme temperature exposure at the root, with a focus on protecting new hair growth during styling.
The system comes with five interchangeable styling tools, each designed to replace multiple traditional hot tools. The Shark Silki™ Hot Tool + Air Straightener is designed to create sleek, smooth finishes on both wet and dry hair, while the Shark Glossi™ Hot Tool + Air Glosser focuses on fast drying and high-shine blowouts with added bounce across different textures.
For curling, the Coanda Auto-Wrap Curlers automatically draw hair around the barrel and set curls without direct high heat contact, aiming to simplify styling while maintaining consistency and control. Additional attachments include a styling concentrator for smoothing and blow-drying, and a defrizz diffuser designed for even drying from root to tip, with adjustable prongs to enhance curl definition.
A high-powered hair dryer function is also built into the system, intended to speed up drying time while maintaining a smoother finish. Across the range of attachments, the system is designed to support hair types from straight to coily, with the brand positioning it as inclusive across textures and curl patterns.
