TREND: BEST EUPHORIA HAIR LOOKS

A world in which the hair and beauty looks became a leading character in their own right.

If Euphoria taught us anything, it’s that hair is never just hair in a show that completely disrupted the beauty world at the time of release – and continues to do so now, seven years after it’s initial release.

Forget the iconic Euphoria eye, the way in which characters expressed their identity, emotion and state of mind through hair looks was as narratively loaded as any line of dialogue or sweep of glittered shadow.

From Rue’s undone auburn curls, to Maddy’s high-drama, hyper-stylised sculptural looks engineered for impact and even Cassie’s pin-up inspired curls and curtain bangs the series built a visual language that will continue to influence long after the final episode has finished streaming.

Now that the third and final season has come to a close, here we round up some of our favourite hair looks. Let us know below if we’ve missed any of your favourite looks from Euphoria Season 3!

Rue

Across the series run (and not just Season 3), Rue’s unkempt curls quickly became a visual extension of her chaotic character and tumultuous inner world – especially when juxtaposed against the other members of  hyperly stylised cast.

Maddie

Our personal pick for MVP from a hair and beauty perspective, and the equvilent of power dressing through your HMU. Think Old Hollywood glamour with a modern, mob-wife edge – and nary a hair out of place across the entirety of the show run.

The long, liquid-blonde mermaid lengths seen on Jules at the doomed nuptials of Cassie and Nate’s redefine the term ethereal elegance with a modern edge. Ultra-glossed and almost weightless in movement, the hair seems to drift between ethereal dreamscape and an almost Japanese-inspired edginess.

Cassie

Cassie’s bombshell blonde leans hard into pin-up nostalgia. Think curtain bangs and volume turned up to the max paired with a high-gloss shine and big, blonde curls that take beauty to the brink of performance.

Lexi

Much like the character herself, Lexi’s bob is clean, controlled, and stronger than ever in the latest season. In contrast to the show’s more maximalist looks, its sharp line and natural movement feel intentional without ever trying too hard, reflecting Lexi’s observational role within the chaos around her.

Special Mention: Kitty

Special Mention must go to supporting character Kitty’s gorgeously soft copper/strawberry blonde hue.
