FINESSE LINGERIE SHOW 2014 PRESENTED BY MATRIX AUSTRALIA

The Finesse Lingerie Show is one of the most highly anticipated events on the Adelaide Fashion Festival calendar. Originally conceived as a promotional event to showcase leading talent at the reputable Finesse Models management agency, the show has evolved into an epic production that evokes unstoppable glamour. Inspired by the world renowned Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, the after-dark event features a fusion of seasonal lingerie collections and fantastical styling directives to celebrate the absolute theatre of intimate apparel. Proudly presented by Matrix Australia, this year’s arresting hair looks were created by a collaborative team of stylists from Adelaide-based Matrix salons led by Kinky Curly Straight creative director Uros Mikic. “The glamorous, voluminous hair directive we created was inspired by the Victoria’s Secret Angels. Seductive, tousled waves and effortless curls were achieved with Matrix Design Pulse Go Big Mousse, Mega Dust, Surround Shine and Vavoom Hair Spray to create ultimate shimmer,” enthuses Mikic.

Attracting an audience of more than 500 including 200 VIP guests, this year’s event named ‘Eden’, took place in a city warehouse that was transformed to convey a distinctly celestial theme. The spectacular glittered runway was complemented by ambient neon lights and smoke for a bevy of Adelaide’s leading models including Bonds ‘poster girl’ Elle Brittain.
