L’Oréal Colour Trophy, the industry’s longest running live hairdressing competition is returning in 2020, continuing a journey to propel industry excellence whilst enthralling hairdressers on a global scale.
A mass celebration of hair, fashion and (of course) colour, L’Oréal Colour Trophy continues to platform the very best in hairdressing talent, honouring exceptional artistry, skill and creative vision nationwide.
Following L’Oréal Professionnel’s prestigious 110 year anniversary celebrations in Paris this year, Colour Trophy 2020 will continue to push the boundaries of colour innovation and trends, inspiring hair fashion for the seasons to come.
2020’s mammoth prize pool includes a trip and admission to an upcoming, international L’Oréal event. Moreover, winners will relish in both national and international exposure and recognition through the event’s acclaimed media partners.
Entry into the 2020 competition offering kicked off this June, with participants invited to submit their interpretations of this season’s colour trends for the first round of digital judging.
Semi-Finalists will next be tasked with recreating their looks in front of a panel of esteemed national judges, before subsequently showcasing their finished looks live at their respective state finals.

WA & NT – Tuesday 11th February 2020
SA – Sunday 9th February 2020
TAS – Monday 2nd March 2020
NSW & ACT – Sunday 26th February 2020
QLD – Tuesday 18th February 2020
VIC – Monday 2nd March 2020
