Never one to stagnate, ghd wow the industry yet again with their latest heat styling innovation, the ghd curve thin wand.
Launched to the Australia/NZ market in January this year, the latest addition to the ghd curve range features a unique 14mm thin barrel perfect for flat to afro texture and proven to generate style with longevity. The claim is defined, even curls* that last up to 24 hours, with no extreme heat.
“At ghd, we are dedicated to constantly being at the forefront of innovation and pioneering tools that will help satisfy the hair needs of both professionals and consumers. The new ghd Thin Wand provides maximum curl definition in minimum time, without extreme heat to maintain the health of your hair,” reiterates Ludovic Dellazzeri, Managing Director, ghd ANZ.
ghd’s optimum styling temperature of 185degrees powers 3-second** curl creation while ensuring this typically drier hair type is left in the same condition it started.
“The ghd thin wand is great for any hair length and curl type, even for super short hair. The consistent temperature creates curls that look healthy and bouncy. This is my new go-to tool for creating unique and head turning curls,” says Charlotte Mensah, Global Brand Ambassador, ghd.
The tool responds to the universal move towards embracing individual texture and elevates the professional finish while empowering the consumer at home.
“I’m so excited about the ghd thin wand given my natural corkscrew curl and until now, there haven’t been enough hot tools on the market for our hair type. The thin wand is really versatile and can easily achieve a glam wave on fine hair or add natural curl and definition to textured/afro hair. The matte texture of the wand itself makes it super easy to use and control, whatever your skill level. A must for my kit now,” says Táne Tomoana, Creative Lead Dry & Tea.
ghd Creative Artist and owner of Sydney blonde mecca, Bixie Colour, Sheree Knobel was one of the first Australian artists to experiment with the tool:
“I’ve been lucky enough to play with the ghd wand for a while now, and it’s opened up a whole new world of styling potential … further to this, there is no compromise to hair health or colour fade, the brand truly have our best interest at heart with everything they do,” she says.
