We want to intoxicate your senses and leave you drunk … on the visuals
AHFA Fashion Stylist of the Year, 2018, Melissa Nixon
Melbourne-bred event People Will Stare (and so will you) is set to take place next Wednesday Sep 26that The George Ballroom and will offer a rare glimpse into the mindsets and creative processes of four progressive artists.
Weird, wild and wonderful, get set to kick your comfort zone, move your morals and surrender to the provocative imaginations of the city’s most creative minds.
Guests will be treated to an A-list line-up in AHFA Fashion Stylist of the Year 2018, Creative Director and Styling Principle at Melbourne Fashion Institute, Melissa Nixon, the man who requires zero intro, Sir Frank Apostolopoulos, leading fashion photographer, Liane Hurvitz and celebrity makeup artist (cue: Gigi Hadid), Chantelle Baker.
“We want to intoxicate your senses and leave you drunk … on the visuals,” says Melissa.
While the co-conspirators are keeping finer details in the dark, what ticket holders can expect is, “a masterclass that will thrill both intellect and instinct; where fashion professionals spill their secrets while guests sip on bubbles, nibble antipasti and mingle with Australia’s elite.”
Further to this, we’re told a live editorial photo shoot will unfold (exposing once and for all the secrets stimulating such successful collaborations from the likes of Melissa and Frank), and a top Melbourne model will play canvas to the ultimate beauty transformation. Think accessible to scintillating troublemaker.
Things will get out of hand.
The Journal subscribers have been extended a 50% discount on full priced event tickets.
