Paloma Rose Garcia joins a hand picked posse of style experts as Oribe Australia’s Editorial Director.

If you’ve been following the path of salon owner and editorial expert Paloma Rose Garcia, you would have noticed a steady incline to success. A passionate journey dedicated to the happiness and prosperity of her staff, her salon and importantly, herself. Grounded and in-control, Paloma makes considered decisions based on a solid strategy for growth. She welcomes the right influencers and works with the right brands in both fashion and hair – brands that embody her values and vision for the future – her recent alliance with Oribe, the perfect pairing.

Bringing new meaning to luxury and what it means to be a session focused (hair) brand, Oribe is all about malleable, moment-making hair. A brand born backstage and in the hands of iconic session slash celebrity stylist, Oribe the man, Oribe Hair Care hit Paloma’s radar instantly upon its arrival in Australia – the luxury aesthetic and endless capacity of the line speaking to her values as an artist and businesswoman alike.

“I’m stepping away from education and re-focusing on my true passions including leading a team, working live on-stage and across fashion shows – I love the franticness of backstage.”

It begun as a mutual and ongoing discussion between Paloma and Managing Director of (Rogue Beauty), Jared Fisher, the pair seeing something in one another’s creative conduct and progressive industry approach from the very beginning. And now, the timing is right.

“It’s a perfect alignment for me,” begins Paloma.

“I specialize in cutting, and along with this comes specialized styling which is where Oribe excels. I also have a long history of working at Sydney Fashion Week and now at the international shows … I’m just really passionate about styling, and for this, Oribe is the perfect brand to support me.”

“Paloma has been an amazing supporter of the Oribe brand since we launched in Australia three years ago,” begins Jared.

“The DNA of Oribe Hair Care has always been closely intertwined with the fashion and editorial worlds, and Paloma’s skills and relationships will be invaluable as we continue our amazing journey with the brand here in Australia.”

For Oribe Australia, Paloma brings with her a host of invaluable fashion alliances in Carla Zampatti, Christopher Esber, Ginger and Smart, Hermès and Net-a-Porter, and for Paloma, upcoming international exposure and the continued opportunity to work alongside the likes of James Pecis and the wider Oribe team.

“I have worked with James Pecis under Oribe in New York before, and the way he conducts himself and co-ordinates a team is truly inspiring, he really embodies the brand – something I look forward to engaging once again in the near future.”

All this, of course, in addition to leading Oribe’s local editorial expeditions – prised opportunities for both Paloma and her valued salon team to learn, grow and evolve into the future of hair. Pushing the boundaries of style, salon and self.

“I have huge respect for Jared, Chris and the team at Rogue Beauty – they’re progressive, they know where it’s at. Great people know great people.”

That they do.
