O&M’s education festival Made For Originals made its highly anticipated return this past weekend, staging its largest-ever live event at Sydney’s White Bay Passenger Terminal with over 850 hairdressers in attendance.

Hosted by industry icon Kirsty Anne, the festival featured an international lineup of O&M COR.creators including Jaye Edwards, Kim Haberley, Amelia Jane, Dane Wakefield, Emily Mander, Marco Bortoli, Lo Wheeler, Daniel Jianing Liu, Charlie Gauci and Hannah Stechman.

Across the day, guests experienced cutting-edge look-and-learn sessions spanning express colour services, seamless blonde blends, wearable pinks, freehand painting and advanced cutting techniques. Highlights included Express Brunette Services with Jaye Edwards, The Art of Texture with Kindale Godbee, and Everything Cutting with Daniel Jianing Liu, Sheridan Rose Shaw and Jake Putan.

Education extended beyond the salon floor, with inspiring business and mindset talks such as BEYOND THE CHAIR with Kim Haberley, Your Personal Brand with Kirsty Anne, and Salon to Social Star with Jose Bryce Smith and Marco Bortoli.

Between sessions, guests explored interactive activations from partners Dyson, Ape The Label, Timely, TikTok and Home Based Salons, alongside $20,000 in giveaways.

More than just an education event, Made For Originals is a platform for creativity, connection and growth- celebrating the artistry and evolving community of hair.
