Over the past 18 months we’ve watched as vibrant industry icon, Paloma Rose Garcia writes her very own version of industry success – the path, people and products defining it. Feminine, fast and fancy free, she operates at top level, from consultation, treatment, cut, style and now, hair accessories.
An Australian first (as far as we know), Paloma has collaborated with popular local jewellery designer, F+H on her very own line of hair accessories.
“F+H is my favourite jewellery brand, I wear a lot of it, and Sharon who owns and runs F+H is a really good friend of mine. Their designs are pared back but full of statement and with that 70s rock ‘n’ roll vibe. Subtle, sophisticated and super sexy, they’re all about the modern woman,” starts Paloma.
“For the last 10 years I have listened to my guests complain about the lack of options for beautiful hair accessories – elevated hair accessories. Whether it’s for an event or enhancing a beautiful ponytail at work, there was just nothing fashion focused yet approachable on the market.”
Perhaps propelled by the re-popularised barrettes, Sharon and Paloma begun playing, sampling and producing these gorgeous style extensions at the start of 2019. And as always with Paloma, with a little more restraint – a little more class than most.

The line currently consists of just three, bespoke designs. MAGICIAN is a fine, layer-loving editorial icon open to strong or subtle styling, while LOVER turns up the statement with fine hardware and five freshwater baroque pearls (in your choice of PALOMA pink or natural white). Wear solo or stacked with MAGICIAN for spring occasion wear. Last but not least, the QUEEN. Gorgeous solo or paired, these chic snap clips are all about lasting impressions.

“My favourite is definitely MAGICIAN. I love the way this design can be stacked or worn singular for just a nuance of something extra. The pale pink pearls (a signature PALOMA tone) look so incredible in brunette hair, while the white looks brilliant on blonde.”
Having already featured in Harpers Bazaar and ELLE (soon to be released), Paloma is finding it hard to hold onto stock.
“At the moment we’re stocking in-salon and just yesterday online at paloma.com.au … and it’s already time to re-stock! We’ve been so lucky to receive great press in some of Australia’s top publications, and I’m very grateful for that.”
And as far as stocking in fellow Australian salons…
“At the moment I’m just taking it day by day, we’ll see what happens. For me, this was the prefect opportunity to simply be creative and design something beyond actual hair… I certainly won’t be retiring off these!”
