Global cosmetics magnate L’Oréal have announced their purchase of Pulp Riot Hair Color, acquiring the colour brand from Luxury Brand Partners.
Though few details on the acquisition have been disclosed, Rogue Beauty have confirmed their continued stance as the brand’s official Australian distributors.
“Since its launch at Hair Expo in 2017, Pulp Riot has become a cult favourite for creative colourists Australia-wide,” said Rogue Beauty Managing Director, Jared Fisher.
“Pulp Riot remains an important part of Rogue Beauty’s portfolio of leading innovative brands and we look forward to the continued success of the Pulp Riot brand under our management.”
Since the brand’s 2016 global launch, Pulp Riot has fast established itself as an industry disruptor, revolutionising the professional colour market through the creation and distribution of innovative content.
Run by founders David and Alexis Thurston, the brand continues to inspire and educate hairdressers the world over, empowering colourists “to think of themselves as artists while providing them with superior paint to create their masterpieces”.
