There’s nothing quite akin to celebrating for a cause, and this year’s Keune Foundation Ball saw the haircare brand reach a momentous milestone.

To coincide with Hair Expo’s 2018 festivities, Keune hosted a Las Vegas themed charity bash on Sunday 10th June, in support of it’s philanthropic platform; the Keune Foundation.

Over one-thousand salon owners, stylists and star clients flocked to popular Melbourne hotspot Ms Collins, for an evening of communal merriment and charitable activity.. otherwise known as the annual Keune Ball.

The event saw $26,000 in funds raised through the selling of raffle tickets and an exclusive silent auction, with all admission proceeds going directly to the Keune Foundation.

In addition to the evening’s triumphant achievement, the brand also announced a historic milestone; namely the foundation’s cumulative donation of $1 million worth of funds to over 650 Australian families.

Now in it’s 14th year, the Keune Ball has grown into a large, colourful event that brings together both Keune’s charitable work and it’s wider Keune family of stylists and colourists for an evening of festivities.

Further to funds procured through the brand’s annual ball, the Keune Foundation also receives annual contributions from Keune Australia, Keune Holland, staff, suppliers and clients, with 10c from every tube of Tinta Color also donated to Keune’s national charity.

First established in 2005, the Keune Foundation provides emotional and monetary assistance to the families of children who have been diagnosed with a life threatening illnesses.
