Hair loss is becoming an increasingly important part of the professional hair conversation in salon, and Hairhouse is stepping further into the category with an exciting new partnership with Hair Doctors.
Launching at Hairhouse Highpoint on Friday 28 August, this partnership will introduce clinician-led hair loss and scalp health consultations and treatments, with further locations set to follow.
This expansion of Hairhouse’s existing haircare and salon offering brings clinical expertise into a professional hair environment, and creates a new pathway for clients experiencing concerns around thinning, shedding and scalp health.
For the pro’s, this partnership also speaks to a broader shift in how consumers are approaching their hair. The salon is often where changes in hair condition are first noticed and discussed, but conversations around hair loss can require expertise beyond the traditional salon remit.
Hairhouse is now looking to bridge that gap.
The new Hair Doctors experience begins with a clinical consultation and HairMetrix AI scalp analysis, with the condition of the hair and scalp assessed before a personalised treatment plan is recommended. Options include Hair Growth Protocols, designed to support healthier, stronger-looking hair, and Save Our Scalp Protocols for dry, irritated or oily scalps.
“We’ve always been passionate about helping our customers achieve healthy, beautiful hair,” said Michael O’Connell, COO of Hairhouse.
“This partnership represents the natural evolution of that commitment. Our salon teams are often the first to notice changes in a client’s hair or scalp and are frequently asked for advice around thinning or hair loss. Partnering with Hair Doctors allows us to extend that customer journey by connecting clients with trusted professionals where appropriate.”
For Hair Doctors Co-Founder Dr Ateka Khan, the partnership is about making expert hair health support more accessible.
“For many people, concerns around hair thinning or hair loss can have a significant impact on confidence, yet they often don’t know where to turn for trusted advice. By partnering with Hairhouse, we’re creating an accessible pathway where customers can receive an initial clinical assessment in a familiar retail environment before embarking on a personalised treatment journey. Together, we’re combining Hairhouse’s expertise in professional haircare with Hair Doctors’ clinical knowledge to help more Australians take control of their hair health.”
