The experts over at American Crew recently hosted an expert-led panel exploring masculinity in the modern age, and where it is heading in the future.

One of the most exhilarating elements of the modern age is the societal shift toward each of us embracing our own unique self. As this self-expression and acceptance becomes more widespread, it follows too that we are doing away with outdated stereotypes that no longer resonate. One such concept that has undertaken a much needed update is that of masculinity, and what it means to be a man in the modern age.

The official supplier to men for decades, American Crew, have recognised this and acknowledge that as men change, so must they. As we have entered a new decade, old ideas of masculinity must be challenged.

This is exactly what they did in Monday night’s panel discussion, in which conversation was opened up about modern masculinity and what it means to be a man today. Headed up by American Crew barbers and influencer Shayne Tino, who is synonymous with progressive culture, the panel discussion discussed, deconstructed and explored what it means to be a man in our fluid world and what masculinity will look like tomorrow.
