Introducing HeadHunter Recruitment Australia: A new, industry specific recruitment website geared to support hairdressing, beauty and barbering professionals and businesses.
Launched by the Australian Hairdressing Council, the new initiative was developed to meet the respective needs of hair, beauty and barbering professionals and small businesses, all while addressing an array of current employment challenges.
HeadHunter Recruitment was born of a growing necessity to provide specialised service to industry professionals and businesses, coupled with recent market findings that revealed most recruitment sites tend to neglect hair and beauty related needs and expectations.
With over 65,000 hairdressing and beauty employees across Australia, HeadHunter Recruitment will provide assessment and service based on industry relevant skills and experience required by employers, thereby profoundly streamlining (and simplifying) the process for both parties.
Powered by the AHC, HeadHunter Recruitment will be helmed by General Manager Dwayne Hawthorne, who will oversee all operations and management of the business. The site will host a range of features centred upon streamlining staff search, such as:
- Resume matching
- Inbuilt message centre
- Custom dashboard, with full tracking of visits to each advertisement
- Email templates for responding to enquiries
- Text message communication
- Candidate screening
- Resume database search
- The ability to add both video and images to job ads
- Company logo displayed
- Link from a business ad to an onsite company description
- Ability to draft and save draft versions of jobs
- Ability to post jobs for multiple location
HeadHunter Recruitment Australia will also be one of the first sites in the industry to offer video interviewing, saving staff and employers much needed time and energy while assisting social distancing regulations during the current COVID-19 pandemic.
