Matrix Playground kicked off its highly anticipated national tour in Adelaide on Sunday 19th June followed by Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. Created to unite thousands of industry professionals, Matrix Playground inspires each guest to ignite their inner artist by exploring endless styling and creative possibilities. Presented by the Australian Design Team, this year’s impressive line-up includes Matrix Creative Director Uros Mikic, expert colourist Steve Corthine, Lores Giglio, Paul Ricupito and Mat Johnson. Matrix Global Artist and acclaimed UK stylist – Jamie Stevens – will make a special appearance at the Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne events. The UK Hairdresser Hall Of Fame member is a resident stylist on The X Factor UK, and has worked with an array of celebrities including Kylie Minogue, Elle Macpherson, Eva Herzigova and Colin Farrell.
In addition to showcasing compelling education and boundless creativity, Matrix Playground 2016 will present a formidable Business Forum designed to maximise salon success via team building, propelling retail sales and attracting new clients. Guest speakers include – Alishia Smart (GM Matrix Australia), Marie Ricupito (Debarge Hair & Caffe), Mojca Bizjak-Mikic (Kinky, Curly Straight), Stephanie Heslop (Shortcuts) and Paul Frasca (Sustainable Salons).
