LAUNCH: MOROCCANOIL’S NEW STYLING TRIO MADE TO MIX

Introducing Moroccanoil’s recently expanded styling lineup. Designed to provide stylists more control over texture, hold and finish, plus the freedom to layer all three.

Featuring a NEW Sculpting Pomade, re-packaged Texture Clay and Molding Cream, the new collection provides stylists a diverse wardrobe to mix, match and build into their work.

For Richi Grisillo, Moroccanoil Global Ambassador, that versatility is especially relevant to the brand’s newcomer. “The idea that a strong-hold pomade belongs exclusively in a barbershop is outdated and undersells the product,” he says. “Hold is a texture decision, not a gender one.”

Boasting a lightweight, water-based formula, firm long-lasting hold and high-shine finish, Sculpting Pomade is designed with a buildable nature to deliver polish without stiffness or residue.

“Buildability is exactly what creative work demands,” Richi says. “Backstage, you’re rarely building one static look, you’re sculpting, refining, sometimes rebuilding a style multiple times before a show even starts.”

It’s this flexibility that sets the trio apart as a whole. Texture Clay offers medium, workable hold and a matte finish whilst the Molding Cream brings soft, flexible control with definition and fullness and the Sculpting Pomade delivers firm hold and shine.

“They’re not three versions of the same idea, they’re three distinct finishes and holds built to work in conversation with one another,” Richi explains.

His preferred approach? Starting with Molding Cream, then working Texture Clay through the ends before finishing with Sculpting Pomade (wherever additional shine and control is needed). “That’s the beauty of a trio built this way,” he says. “You’re not choosing one finish for the whole head, you’re editing texture, hold and shine zone-by-zone.”

As for Moroccanoil Artist Chinney Yeap, that ability to layer is one of the brand’s defining strengths. “Moroccanoil products are all intermixable,” she says. “You can add oil, then layer mousse and finish off with hair spray. The world is your oyster with this brand.”

It’s the durability of the range backstage that has excited Moroccanoil Artist Michael Beel most about the new additions. “When you’re on set, hair needs to look luxurious. It needs to hold and have the wow factor to last all day underneath the lights or walking up the catwalk,” he says. “What I love about Moroccanoil is the hold, wearability, touchability and that modern luxurious finish.”

At the heart of the collection? Moroccanoil’s signature Argan Oil, bringing nourishment to formulas designed for serious styling performance. For Richi, that’s what makes the trio stand apart. “These products style and condition simultaneously, so strong hold doesn’t mean dry, brittle, stripped back hair by the end of the day.”
