LA BIOSTHETIQUE LAUNCHES COLOUR SYSTEM IN TAIWAN

La Biosthetique have launched their professional colour system in Taiwan this weekend following close on the heels of the success of La Biosthetique’s expansion into Hong Kong and the Asian market.

Led by presenter and Taiwanese television personality, Chang Pei-ying, the crowd of nearly 400 joined at the Taipei Brick House, an iconic cultural center and former sake making factory. In the gallery-style creative space, hairdressers across Taiwan watched as Australian guest artists and AHFA finalist, Alexander Fuchs (La Biosthetique creative manager) and Gess Mazis (Director or La Bimbi Salon and Spa group) demonstated the colour’s versatility, strength, and brillance. A dozen models shared the stage, portraying the latest hair and and beauty trends for La Biosthetique’s autumn/winter collection. Each model was prepped with a bespoke colour using the Tint and Tone Advanced system. “It’s the trust factor,” said Alexander Fuchs on the colour system, “stylists need to be able to depend on their colour. Both for their bottom line and to realize their creative potential.”

The afternoon soiree was treated to dance performances and insight from Hong Kong’s Marek Wan, owner of La Biosthetique flagship salon ‘Coiffure Beauté’. Wan spoke about the retail concept and showing how layout of retail is important in increasing sales for salons.

La Biosthetique has seen great success in Asia, appealing to the luxury taste of the burgeoning upper-class Chinese. Rob Aubin, CEO of La Biosthetique Australia New Zealand had this to say: “La Biosthetique Australia is expanding at a rapid pace having just moved into W.A. This coupled with the success of the brand in the Asian marketplace are clear indicators that there is a vibrant niche market for those who want truly professional, high calibre products.”

Guest artist Todd Arndt will be joining Alexander Fuchs for a tour in Malaysia this April as La Biosthetique continues unveiling their professional colour system to the East.
