La Biosthetique officially opened the doors of its new Melbourne Academie during the Hair Expo long weekend. Over 80 people from the hairdressing industry came to celebrate the opening in true Parisian style with good music, fine champagne and delicious hors d’oeuvres.

On show was not only the brand new hair, skin and make-up training facilities for the La Biosthetique stylists and therapists within the academie, but also the La Biosthetique flagship salon, where all total beauty services are on offer. From lie flat basin beds to deliver to at-basin facials, to a custom built tea and towel service area for clientele, the La Biosthetique Academie ‘Total Beauty Ritual’ service system of delivering hair and skincare seamlessly together was the showcase of the night.

To top it all off, Paul Frasco from Sustainable Salons was there to make the exciting announcement that the La Biosthetique Academie and flagship salon will be the first hairdressing training facility in Victoria to be 100% sustainable. This sustainability initiative compliments the already existing environmental and ethical practices La Biosthetique enacts, including no animal testing and maintaining a carbon neutral footprint delivery policy.
