LA BIOSTHETIQUE ANNUAL PARTY 2015

The party of the year kicked off this Sunday night at La Biosthetique’s annual La Soiree. Held for their close network of salons, the Parisian Hair and Beauty House, celebrated in style with a boat cruise around Sydney harbour, a three course dinner and a fashion showcase, displaying the latest trends from Europe. Maria Ardino, Mandy Kingsman, and Rachel Espley, Joel McLaren of the La Biosthetique Equipe Artistique, took the stage first to show off the latest trend hairstyles and product releases. A live demonstration with four models being transformed on stage with step-by-step instructions of how the stylists can recreate the looks in salon. Then La Biosthetique’s very own resident make-up artist Rebecca Fuchs presented the latest make-up trends this season with the Parisian Spring/Summer collection offering up bold lip colours, paired with soft muted eye shadows and masterful contouring.

Not only did the night inspire stylists with a sneak peak into the latest trends, but also excited them through the announcement of some of the year’s most anticipated awards. This included the Australian New Zealand winner of the International Beauty Stylist Award, Gess Mazis of La Bimbi Salon Group. Mazis will be flown to Paris to compete in the International Beauty Stylist Award and attend the major award ceremony in October against dozens of other countries. Mazis is not the only stylist in the La Biosthetique network to be flown to the fashion capital. Megan Lyons from Lasalla Hair & Beauty in South Brisbane will accompany the Australian team at the three day awards weekend in Paris after winning the National Retail Challenge for 2015.

“The night was a great success. With exciting showcases from our creative team and award presentations all in the backdrop of Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. It truly represented everything La Biosthetique stands for, from celebrating the achievements of those in our salon network, to featuring the hottest trends on the catwalk, in the most luxurious environment” said Alexander Fuchs, MC and Creative Manager of La Biosthetique.
