Kérastase Paris Launch Luxury Couture Styling Collection

The Journal’s Creative Director David Mannah and Editor Viola Doyle joined hair fashion media at Sydney hot spot The Ivy last week to celebrate the launch of Kérastase Paris’ new line of professional-grade styling products the Couture Styling collection, a first for the luxury hair care brand.

Under the direction of award winning Australian session stylist Sarah Laidlaw who was earlier this year announced as the Creative Stylist and spokesperson for the Kérastase Paris Couture Styling collection, guests were treated to a first look of the collection, a 10 piece range dedicated to creating cutting edge, catwalk worthy hair looks.

Models hair was styled by Laidlaw to emulate international face and muse of the collection Kate Moss’ campaign looks created by world renowned hair stylist Luigi Murenu, the international Creative Director for Couture Styling.

The new Couture Styling collection breaks away from traditional styling formulations that create rigid effects, unflattering artificial finishes with a heavy, sometimes sticky product feel and meets a wide range of wants and needs that women and hairstylists have been waiting for to help reveal the hair’s natural beauty.

The Kérastase Paris Couture Styling collection will be available in leading Kérastase salons’ across Australia from September 1st 2013.
