KATRINA BRIESCHKE APPOINTED L’Oréal Professionnel eDUCATION AND ADVOCACY MANAGER

L’Oréal Professionnel is ushering in an exciting new era in 2025 with the appointment of Katrina Brieschke as Education and Advocacy Manager. With over two decades of experience in the hairdressing industry, Katrina brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for empowering professionals.

Her journey began at just 15 years old in her hometown of Rosewood, Queensland, where she first honed her skills as a hairdresser. After completing her apprenticeship, Katrina’s love for education took her to Canada, where she taught young children hairdressing in an Arctic village. This sparked her true passion for teaching, which would shape her career.

Returning home, Katrina reached out to L’Oréal’s head office, eager to contribute to their education team. Over the past 10 years, her ability to connect with stylists and share knowledge in a relatable way has earned her widespread recognition.

“My career path feels like it’s come full circle, and in the best way possible,” explains Katrina. My L’Oréal story started as an educator – a role that truly ignited my passion for sharing knowledge and empowering others. From there, I dove into the world of content and social media, learning how to connect and communicate in new and exciting ways.

“I’m thrilled to be leading the Education and Advocacy team at L’Oréal Professionnel,” Katrina says. “It feels like everything I’ve done has led me here. My mission is to elevate hairdressers, showing them they’re not just creating hairstyles—they’re boosting confidence and fostering connections.”

With Katrina at the helm, L’Oréal Professionnel is poised to inspire and empower the next generation of stylists across ANZ.
