The L’Oréal Professionnel Style & Colour Trophy 2025 has crowned its new champion, with Karlie Roberts of LNDN, Victoria, taking first place in the prestigious hairdressing competition.
Held at the L’Oréal Melbourne Academy and broadcast virtually nationwide, the grand final brought together the country’s most creative stylists for a showcase of artistry, vision, and technical mastery. Roberts, who is currently undertaking the esteemed L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Specialist course, impressed judges with her creative vision and flawless execution.
As part of her prize, Roberts will travel to Paris- the global epicentre of fashion and beauty- for an exclusive industry experience. Representing LNDN, the acclaimed salon led by Jamie Furlan and Danni Solier, both Global Educators and members of the L’Oréal Professionnel Artistic Team, her winning look reflected the innovation and excellence that have become the salon’s hallmark. This was Roberts’ third time entering the competition- proof that persistence pays off.
Second place went to Lauriane Schuler of Nancymai, VIC, who marked 20 years in hairdressing on the very first day of the competition, making the recognition even more special. In third place was Loren Polidori of Ensemble Salon, SA, returning to the podium after also placing third in last year’s event.
The Newcomer Award went to rising star Mikayla Robertson of Hairloom Collective, while the Artist’s Choice Award was presented to Natasha Monastra of Koko Blaq Hair, who also placed second in last year’s competition.
The 2025 edition proves once again the L’Oréal Style & Colour Trophy’s legacy: a celebration of innovation, excellence, and the creative strength of Australian hairdressing.
