Kao Salon Division Australia have launched a series of MBE Networking Brunches, designed for salon owners and managers, currently making it’s way across the country.
Created to showcase three highly respected voices all specializing in different areas of the industry, the event promises to educate and inspire in equal measure – a brunchtime pairing as classic as croissants and coffee!
“Nothing bonds more powerfully than shared and unforgettable experiences,” says General Manager for Kao ANZ, Rita Marcon. “At MBE events, our Salon Partners are able to network with like-minded Salons that are at the forefront of our industry and developing best business practices. The purpose of the MBE program is to provide information, inspiration, personal development concepts, initiatives, and ideas to increase Salon performance and profitability.”
“Our goal is to deliver our Salon Partners the right environment and opportunities to further develop their skills to successfully drive business growth, build motivation and encourage creativity.”
As far as line up is concerned, you can expect to hear from expert voices across the industry. These include:
Mia De Vries – Founder & Owner of The Secret Fox Education, The Fox & The Hair Salon and collaborator of Salon Bestie. Mia will be talking about her own personal salon experience and recognising the need to Evolve her salon processes, or face the consequences of not being willing to adapt to the demands of our ever-changing world. This included amending her salons opening hours/days and recruitment processes, to focus on giving her staff what they need (not just customers!). One question Mia continuously asks herself as a Business Owner is ‘Does this spark joy in my business?’… if not, she uses it as an opportunity to reassess plans.
Sandy Chong – CEO AHC & Suki Salon Owner will be talking about how our industry has changed in recent times, covering the results of a far-reaching AHC industry survey, which highlights why stylists leave traditional salons to become home hairdressers or rent-a-chair operators… and what might drive them to return in future.
Hayley Mears – Founder & Director of Six Underground Media will be focusing on the great social media reset & discussing how the days of hashtags and boring feeds are over! Shining a light on how you can make an impact in the world of social media and harness its power to propel your salon business to the next level…
