KAO SALON OPENS NEW TRAINING ACADEMY IN QUEENSLAND

 

On October 19th KAO SALON officially opened their brand new training academy in the convenient and popular suburb of MILTON. The opening event was a celebration of hair and young talent. The Queensland Rising Stars team – Madison Lamb from Luke Reynolds Hairdressing, Bree Munt from The Ruby Room and Rebekah Thomas from Bach Hair presented a live show featuring collections and trends developed from their own inspirations. This new academy and the opening night show are reflective of KAO Salons support and dedication to the salon industry and its passion to continually develop the talent within it.

Justin Anderson, General Manager of Kao Salon Australia stated that “We are dedicated to the growth and development of all of those who enter the hairdressing industry. As a part of their journey we want hairdressers to be educated in a world class training facility, which is what they will find at our new Academy in Brisbane. We are very proud of the image of this Academy and the clear message it displays for our passion for the continued growth of our industry in Australia. . This Academy is one of 5 Academy’s that Kao Salon has throughout Australia ensuring that the future learning looks bright for the hairdressers of today as well as those joining our industry in the future”.

The QLD Academy further demonstrates our focus in providing skills and knowledge that enable each hairdresser to be more effective, creative and professional in the salon and to achieve more in their career. We run globally aligned programs that are accredited and mapped to the Australian Hairdressing Training package. This enables stylist to be recognised and rewarded for their development and training both nationally and internationally says Rita Marcon KAO Salon Education Director.
