As one of the evolving young talents of hairstyling in Colors Hair Company in Hamilton, Jenny Eastwood has just received her confirmation of her vision and creativity by winning the 2016 Protégé Competition.

Sachajuan stands as the proud sponsor of New Zealand’s 2016 Protégé Competition. The Sachajuan team worked closely with the finalists to see them put their styling and editorial skills into action. The Protégée competition was created as an opportunity for the next generation of stylists to showcase their talent through editorial and styling skills, with the winner given the opportunity to see their high fashion looks in print.

Jenny was one of the four stylists who impressed industry icons, Sara Allsop and Jock Robson with her unique imagination and amazing work. Jenny’s hairdressing idol is Tracey Cunningham because of her beautiful colour work, and Guido Palau, who is “always a step ahead of the game at creating new and exciting looks” says Jenny. Her thrillingly creative mind find sources for inspiration not only in those who rule the hairdressing industry, but from designers like Rodarte.
